Steve Bayles has enjoyed cooking and grilling all his adult life. With 30 years of customer service experience, his focus has always been on putting his customers first. Smokin’ Steve Bayles got his start barbecuing chicken and tri-tip for a friend who catered weddings and other large events in the ’90s. Steve’s friend knew cooking and grilling had always been Steve’s passion. And it’s true because Steve loves seeing people get excited and enjoy the mouthwatering meals that he makes from plain raw ingredients. There’s a level of satisfaction about working with food that satisfies him in a way his day job never did.
It’s no surprise. Chef Steve’s food is much more than meat cooked with barbecue sauce. Instead, he has perfected his own process of preparing meat with his own dry rub of spices, then slowly cooking it with wood and charcoal, and finishing it with the right amount of bbq sauce. It’s all about balance and creating layers of flavor. Indeed, Steve won his first Reserve Grand Championship in 2005 and again in 2009! It’s that good!
Since those early days, Steve has expanded Smokin’ Steve’s Catering menu to include breakfast, lunch, and other amazing dinner entrees as well. It’s not just about barbecue anymore. Smokin’ Steve’s offers delicious appetizers and hors d’oeuvres, farm-fresh salads, sandwiches, desserts, and other mouth-watering treats! Today, Smokin’ Steve’s Catering is a full-service catering company. Their home-style recipes will “wow” your guests and you won’t have to lift a finger in the kitchen. They’ll bring it all. The Food.
